Fashion designer Elvardo Wilson launched his first line of haute couture in March during a showing at the Old Town Mall Sandyport, to the delight of fashionable Bahamian women everywhere. With an expressive, sensual, yet progressive style, Elvardo's work reflected the passion he holds for his craft.
From risque two piece bathing suits, lacy lingerie that straddled the line between sexy and sleazy, to dazzling evening gowns, everything in Mr Wilson's debut show expressed his passion for decorating and adding accessories to the female form.
Leopard print material, bright coloured fluorescent fabric and materials of various textures came together for a beautiful showcase, aptly titled, "Colours".
The brief show however, was meant only to give a sneak peak to Bahamians to let them know that a new fashion designer, Elvardo Wilson – was about to explode onto the scene with his soon to be realised – Eldamont label.
