Aspiring and established librarians participated in a one-week workshop held at the Administrative Office of the Public Library & Reading Centre during the week of July 26. The facilitator for the annual workshop was Ms. Susy Siel, a librarian from Wisconsin. Ms. Siel has been visiting The Bahamas over the past several years to conduct the workshop.Also participating in the workshop were two Family Island librarians hailing from Mayaguana and Eleuthera. At the end of the workshop, the participants visited all the public librarians on New Providence as part of the training.
