Dalia Feldman grew up just a short bus ride from the bright lights of Broadway, and celebrated countless childhood birthdays with trips to shows in Manhattan–gifts from her generous older brother.
Inspired by her love of the stage and blessed with a beautiful singing voice, Dalia shared her talent in many theatrical productions by The Freeport Players Guild over the past several years. At the urging of friends and family, she decided to record an album of some of her favorite Broadway show tunes, the sale of which will benefit The Grand Bahama Performing Arts Society, which she founded in 2008 to support local performing arts students.
To celebrate the album’s release, a special concert will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 8 p.m. at The Regency Theatre. Feldman will perform songs from the new CD, including classic tunes from Cats, The King and I, Phantom of the Opera, Thoroughly Modern Millie, My Fair Lady, and other popular long-running Broadway shows.
