Controversial GEMS radio talk show host Lincoln Bain was brought in for questioning by the Bahamas police today regarding his involvement in two separate matters.
Bahamas Press reports that Mr Bain was asked to turn over recordings he had involving an allegedly corrupt worker at the Passport Office who is accused of receiving a bribe from a woman seeking to expedite passports for her two daughters.
Although the worker is considered corrupt for taking something in return for fast-tracking permits, MP Shane Gibson, who allegedly did the same thing with Anna Nicole Smith, has never had to account for his actions.
Only last week, the police picked up rogue website administrator C. Allen Johnson after he bragged on Mr Bain’s radio show that he had “hacked” into a government website.
It turns out that it wasn’t really a government website and he really didn’t hack into it.
Nonetheless, Mr Bain was apparently also questioned regarding that incident.
The Bahamas Press report said Bain turned over the requested recordings and was released.
“They thanked me for my work in both cases and let me go,” he is reported to have said.
