Rashard Paul, 19, was arraigned in a Magistrate’s Court charged with the murder of Brenda Mae Johnson.
Ms Johnson, of Pinewood Gardens, died in hospital after being shot on July 19 as she and her daughter sat in a car in the Rupert Dean Lane area.
Paul, alias “Eyes”, of Baillou Hill Road, was also charged with the attempted murders of Burton Sands and Lathario Morley and several other serious crimes.
Paul was arraigned before was before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez and was not required to enter a plea to the charges.
He was remanded to prison and is expected back in court on September 15.
A preliminary inquiry into the matters has been set for November 26, 2010.
