The woman police say was found hanging from the ceiling in an apparent suicide might actually have been murdered.
The Tribune newspaper reports that police are scheduled to meet with the family of the young woman, who say they found her lying in a room, not hanging from the ceiling.
Lancelot Porter, father of Acassia Porter, told The Tribune of how his wife, daughter and their 5-year-old son found Acassia lying on the floor of her room on Monday evening – not hanging as police reports indicated.
Police were unable to explain the discrepancy in their report.
