An American tourist was robbed at gunpoint at the Original Patties Store on Tonique Williams-Darling Highway in Nassau.
Two armed men, at least one wearing a mask, barged into the store around 3:30pm on Wednesday. One of the men robbed the cashier of an undisclosed amount of money while the other gunman robbed the customers inside the store, including a businessman from the United States.
The robber made the Amercian tourist lie on the ground and he took the visitor’s driver’s license and other valuables.
The bandits fired gunshots in the parking lot before fleeing on foot into the Yellow Elder area.
The incident follows an armed robbery about two weeks ago at the Original Patties store on Blue Hill Road.
