Members of the Bahamian men’s 4×400 meters(m) squad are hoping to add to the five medals already won by The Bahamas at the 19th edition of the Commonwealth Games, being staged in New Delhi, India. The team of La’Sean Pickstock, Andretti Bain, Jamal Moss and Ramon Miller clocked 3:05.44 to win the second of two heats yesterday evening.
So far, the five medals have been claimed by Donald Thomas and Trevor Barry in the men’s high jump, Ramon Miller in the men’s 400m, and boxers Valentino Knowles and Carl Hield in the 64 and 69kg. classes respectively.
Donald Thomas won a Gold medal with a season’s best performance, high-jumping 2.32m or 7-71/4 feet.
