“Yes, we are pregnant,” said Mariah Carey on the Today Show.
The singer confirmed her pregnancy Thursday after a long series of speculations.
She said she is “expecting in the spring,” though she didn’t give specific dates.
This is the first child for Carey 41, and husband Nick Cannon, who called the whole process “absolutely emotional.”
And it has been.
Carey revealed that she had kept this matter somewhat private because of the miscarriage of her first baby soon after her marriage to Nick Cannon in 2008 in The Bahamas.
“It was really sad,” said Carey. Cannon admitted that his wife cried herself to sleep for some time.
But now the couple is celebrating.
