Less than 36 hours after the fatal crash of a small charter plane in Lake Killarney, another small plane was forced to make a crash landing. This is the fifth private charter to crash within four months and the second in two days.
Four people sustained injuries in the crash, including a pregnant woman. The pilot is in critical condition having recived serious head injuries.
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk had departed Florida en route to the Bahamas when it was hit by a strong gust of wind which caused the aircraft to clip a tree and forced it to make a crash landing at the airport in Little Whale Cay, in the Berry Islands around 3pm on Wednesday.
