Marie Rodland-Allen has been named as the new Managing Director of FirstCaribbean International Bank’s operating company in The Bahamas.
Mrs. Rodland-Allen will also assume responsibility for FirstCaribbean’s Turks and Caicos business.
In welcoming Mrs. Rodland-Allen, Michael Mansoor, FirstCaribbean International Bank’s Executive Chairman said, “We continue to attract high caliber talent to our ranks, and Marie is no exception. We are pleased to have someone with her expertise and knowledge at the helm of our Bahamas and Turks & Caicos business,” said Mr Mansoor.
Mrs. Rodland-Allen said: “FirstCaribbean continues to be highly respected among the key players in the region’s financial services industry. It has a clear set of strategic goals and objectives which, backed by its core of professionals and international lineage, will guarantee that its presence in the Caribbean continues to be felt.”
Having begun her banking career in 1998 as an Investment Banking Analyst in New York and Paris, she then worked for two years in her hometown of Nassau as a Corporate Banker before returning to New York to work in the Office of the CEO of The Citigroup Private Bank.
Most recently, Mrs. Rodland-Allen was the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Special Investments for Citigroup’s global trust business.
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a dual Masters of Business Administration degree from Cornell University and Queen’s University. She is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
