Doctors Hospital continues to support the vision of many local organizations in the Bahamian community who share the Hospital’s vision to provide education and awareness, assist in the prevention, treatment and cure of diseases and provide support and assistance for persons in the community. As the hospital continues with this commitment to service within the Bahamian community, a recent check presentation was made to the Police Staff Association to assist in the continuation of the Association’s work for the benefit of the entire Bahamian community.
The main goal and objective of the Police Staff Association is to foster a good working relationship between police officers and the wider community and to sensitize the general public about protection and community awareness. Each year, the Staff Association of the Royal Bahamas Police Force publishes an Annual Crime Prevention Handbook. The handbook provides members of the community with guidelines and information that will be valuable in assisting them to manage their neighborhoods. The Hospital’s donation will go toward production of the handbook.
“We are pleased to offer our continued support the Royal Bahamas Police Staff Association as their efforts continue to make such a lasting difference in the lives of young persons in our community,” said Michele Rassin, VP Operations, Doctors Hospital. “By our donation to the Royal Bahamas Police Staff Association, we continue to live up to our commitment of service within the Bahamian Community.”
