48 year-old Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield had on Saturday night what many would call an epiphany of sorts, when 38 year-old Bahamian boxer, Sherman “Tank” Williams, who had not had a fight in more than two years, was able to get a “no contest” outcome from their fight in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Both men were doing battle for the WBF Heavyweight title, which many never even knew existed, that Holyfield currently owns.
The fight was stopped after the third round because of a severe cut over the left eye of Holyfield, the result of an accidental clash of heads in the second round, that prevented Holyfield from going any further.
