The Georgia Aquarium, still a relative newcomer to the aquarium scene, will open its $110-million, 84,000-square-foot AT&T Dolphin Tales gallery next month, which includes an auditorium that seats about 1,800 people. The centerpiece of the gallery is the theatrical show in which up to nine (the number varies) Atlantic bottlenose dolphins perform.
The lobby entrance to the dolphin gallery features a 25-foot-long underwater viewing window with three sections of interactive display options to educate guests about dolphins and dolphin conservation.
