Regrettably, there are today far too many Bahamians who pay too much attention to things; to money and to the adoration of people who are said to be rich.
Put simply, today’s Bahamas is a sin-sickened and crime ridden place; one that is increasingly given to licentiousness and idolatry.
There is that other aspect of life in today’s Bahamas where some who would run things pay far too much attention to building up the nation’s physical infrastructure as opposed to investing in its social infrastructure – thus the rampant rot and deterioration in some of what passes for schools and social institutions.
This state of affairs cannot end with anything other than more rot, more failure and more distress for more and more of our people.
