The 32-isle nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines launched a brand identity program to promote the destination, which is home to the Soufriere volcano, the island of Mustique and numerous capital projects, including a new international airport and several upscale resorts slated to open in the next two years.
As part of the project, a new SVG logo has been designed, using the national colors of yellow, green and blue.
The shape of a seagull’s wing forms the “V” in St. Vincent, and the bird is in flight, “symbolizing SVG as a multidimensional experience for visitors to explore all that the destination has to offer,” according to Glen Beache, CEO of the St. Vincent and Grenadines Tourism Authority.
