Maurice Moore, permanent representative of The Bahamas to the United Nations, offered advice to the Free National Movement MPs cautioning that they should take nothing for granted as people want to feel connected with the people who represent them.
“They want to see the man or the woman who is going to represent them. They want to talk with you, they want to feel that level of comfort that you will go and do for them what they want you to do for them,” Moore said.
Moore also criticized Bran McCartney for his defection, suggesting he is too power hungry.
“It is sad because when you become so drunk for power, even before you get your vehicle gets started you are trying to run it,” he said after alluding to McCartney.
