Police officials outside the two-storey apartment that caught afire Wednesday afternoon.
Three children have died and four others are in hospital following a fire this afternoon in a two-storey apartment building on Sandilands Village Road, off Fox Hill Road.
Supt. Jeffrey Deleveaux said that one of the children died at the scene of the fire, while two others died at the hospital.
Police said that at least seven children were in the building when the fire started after 3 p.m. today. Initial reports suggest that they may have been home alone. It is unclear at this time if any of the children were related.
