The 24th Annual Pineapple Festival in Gregory Town, Eleuthera once again attracted many hundreds from across the islands of The Eleutheras and throughout the Bahamas.
It is a well organized event that this year saw the Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham accompany member of Parliament for North Eleuthera, Alvin Smith and Minister of Health, Hubert Minnis on the festival site on Saturday afternoon, just in time for the pineapple eating contest and other fun afternoon activities.
Headline entertainment included K-B late on Friday, backed up by the dynamic Defense Force Pop Band and Terez Hepburn late on Saturday, backed up by The Extremers Band.
