Nassau, Bahamas – The Ministry of Public Works and Transport advises motorists that road works are continuing on Baillou Hill Road between Fleming and King Streets.
One lane of northbound traffic is presently in effect between Wulff Road and Fleming Street and a full road closure is in progress between Fleming and King Streets.
Motorists are advised to use Market Street as an alternative road.
Following weekend pavement works on Chapel and Fleming Streets one lane of northbound traffic is being allowed from Wulff Road to Chapel Street. The full road closure presently in effect will be extended from Chapel Street northward to Hay Street.
As of today, Monday, June 27 a full lane closure is in effect from Wulff Road to Andros Avenue.
It is expected that the full lane closure will be extended to Cordeaux Avenue by the end of next week. During the closure single lane traffic will be maintained from Cordeaux Avenue to Coconut Grove Avenue. Motorists are advised to use East Street as an alternative route.
