Police are investigating a shop-breaking at The Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) Sub-office in the Seahorse Shopping Plaza.
The incident took place during the early morning hours on Sunday August 7, 2011.
According to police, at 5:32 a.m. yesterday morning officers at the Lucaya Police Station were alerted to the alarm activation at the substation on Seahorse Road in Lucaya.
When officers from the Mobile Patrol Unit arrived on the scene they discovered that the western door had been forced open.
The establishment was vandalized on the inside and the culprit(s) stole money and several other items.
Police from the Central Detective Unit are continuing their investigation into the incident along with officers from the Eastern Division.
