A 43-year-old West End man was airlifted to New Providence for medical treatment for chop wounds about his body.
The victim was reportedly at the Chicken Nest Restaurant on Saturday, when he got into an altercation with a group of men around 9:30am. The men attacked the victim with a cutlass resulting in serious injuries.
The man was initially taken to the West End Clinic, but later moved to the Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport for further treatment.
According to Assistant Superintendent Loretta Mackey two men, ages 27 and 38, are in custody.
