A jogger out for a run Wednesday night spotted the vehicle owned by the late Amanda Seymour Burrows, the woman whose body was found Tuesday floating in Nassau Harbour near Prince George Wharf.
Ms Burrows’ body and that of her 5-year-old daughter, Taja, were pulled from the water behind Elizabeth on Bay Plaza Tuesday morning. Police said there were no visible injuries on the bodies of either of the victims.
The discovery of the abandonded car, near the Cricket Club on Bay Street, raised suspicions that the pair were murdered, although police have yet to classify the deaths.
Witnesses say the car was not seen at the location where it was found at anytime on Tuesday, suggesting that the vehicle was moved to that loacation after the bodies were discovered.
The investigation continues.
