Former Shooting Victim Executed in Second Attempt

Marvin Kerr, 40, a prominent member of a masonic lodge, was shot to death in his driveway, only six weeks after he was shot in a previous attempt on his life.

The father of three parked his car in his driveway on Taurus Court, off Soldier Road, and was about to enter his home when an unidentified man shot him multiple times. Kerr reportedly died immediately.  The incident occurred around 10:00pm Tuesday night.

Mr Kerr was shot multiple times in the head, execution style.

Kerr was the owner of Kerr-2-Sea Ferry & Charter Service and was the Worshipful Master of St. James Number One Masonic Lodge on Kemp Road.

He was still recovering from injuries sustained during the last attempt on his life, which happened in August.

Police have yet to identify a suspect or even a motive in the first attenpt on Mr Kerr’s life.

Marvin Kerr was the younger brother of Ken Kerr, CEO of the financial services firm, Providence Advisors Limited.

Police suspect that the two shootings are related.
