The Mosko Group of Companies is offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who can provide information to police that would lead to the arrest of those responsible for robbing one of its subsidiaries of $140,000 worth of equipment.
According to the plant manager for New Providence Building Supplies, Andrew Lockhart, employees returned to the company’s warehouse at the Airport Industrial Park last Friday, the day after Hurricane Irene hit New Providence, and they discovered it had been burglarized.
Lockhart said yesterday at the company’s warehouse that the thieves stole four of the company’s vehicles – three sports utility vehicles and a Mitsubishi truck – and tools.
The company is so fed-up with thefts, Lockhart said, that it is doing what is necessary to ensure that those responsible for the thefts are brought to justice
