Wild dogs rescued from the Bahamas before hurricane Irene are finding new homes in Northern Michigan.
These are called pot cake dogs, they’re wild but also used to people.
Little Traverse Bay humane society in Harbor Springs started with 16 of them two weeks ago and are already down to eight.
They’re all under a year old and are known to make great family pets.
The dogs will need special training, just like any puppy, but they have been checked out by a vet and come with all their shots.
