The Ministry of the Environment will be hosting National Energy Awareness Week, which will be held from 4-11th November, 2011.
In this regard, the Ministry has chosen the theme “Public/Private Partnership in the promotion of Energy Efficiency” as recognition of the need for both sectors to work together in this national effort to encourage efficient use of energy. The major thrusts of the activities demonstrate this public/private partnership.
The Minister of the Environment, Hon. Earl Deveaux and the Minister of State in the Ministry of the Environment, Hon. Phenton Neymour will officially launch “Energy Awareness Week” at a special multimedia event at the Paul Farquharson Centre (Police Headquarters) on Monday 24th October, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. A full slate of the activities will be introduced at that time.
