The Bahamas Agriculture and Industrial Corporation held its 4th Annual Authenticity at the Grand Lucayan this past weekend.
Some 24 artists and artisans participated in this year’s trade display. According to Chala Cartwright of BAIC, the purpose of the annual event is to allow new and existing artists and craft vendors on the island to show-off their wares as souvenirs for the tourists.
She noted that this year was also a success with a lot of tourists stopping by on Friday, particularly, when there were a number of boats in at the time.
