Artist Toby Lunn recently hosted a hands-on abstract workshop entitled “In The Likeness” at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) for students, teachers and art lovers.
The workshop was inspired by the Bahamas’ most prolific abstract artist Kendall Hanna, whose lifetime of work is currently on display at the NAGB. Mr Hanna is known as one of the country’s earliest abstract expressionists.
Mr Lunn, a fellow abstract expressionist and friend of Kendall Hanna’s, exposed participants to the materials, techniques and processes involved in some of Mr Hanna’s work.
Mr. Hanna attended the workshop and interacted with participants.
