After months of fact gathering and discussions with the public over exorbitant rates charged by the Grand Bahama Power Company (GBPC), Operation Justice Bahamas filed an official complaint with the GBPC Wednesday morning.
President of Operation Justice Bahamas, Troy Garvey and a team of supporters hand delivered the document to the company and delivered duplicates to the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA), the Gerald Bartlett Police Headquarters and the Office of the Prime Minister.
Garvey and his team encountered some resistance at the GBPC, where the group waited for a substantial period of time after they requested that president and CEO Sarah MacDonald or her assistant appear to accept the document, to no avail.
