President of Operation Justice Bahamas Troy Garvey claims to have evidence that the Grand Bahama Power Company (GBPC) has been using its steam generators while charging Grand Bahamians more for fuel.
After making the allegation, Garvey said the question would then be how long has the company been using the steam generators and does it intend to continue to do so since the company said it was not adequate to supply power to the island.
He noted that the public also needs to know when the additional three cents charge will be removed from customer’s monthly bills that were added for the use of the 54 Aggreko generator units that GBPC has been renting to improve service.
