The Democratic National Alliance has released a video that allegedly infringes on the rights of a U.S. R&B artist.
With all the trouble that the Bahamas has had with copyright infringement, you’d think politicians, especially lawyer/politicians would know better.
Apparently not.
The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) has released a video selling its self-appointed leader, Bran McCartney, as something more than a politician.
Indeed. He is also possibly an intellectual property thief.
The video starts with “homey” pictures of Mr McCartney against a musical background allegedly stolen from American R&B singer John Legend’s song “If You’re Out There”.
The song is from the album ‘Evolver”, released in 2008.
Legend was nominated for the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
