Making amends and attempting to increase passengers Grand Bahama’s fast ferry, Bahamas Express, launched a new low rate beginning this week.
According to a release on Tuesday, in reply to various questions on the new service practices, operators simply said, they will be providing Bahamians with a greater number of bins to facilitate the transportation of heavy luggage.
The bins are to be reserved in advance of the date of travel, but only on the Fort Lauderdale-Freeport route.
Just last week The Freeport News sent a number of questions to operators of Bahamas Express, following concerns by passengers that utilized the vessel for travel.
Those questions included, this daily being told that reportedly, there was a fire on-board the boat but later was told that there was not, can you tell us what happened?
