The Ministry of Public Works advises motorists of the following traffic diversions and road closures:
The Ministry advises that there will be a night time closure on the Independence Roundabout February 15th beginning at 8pm to facilitate laying of the final layer of asphalt. It is anticipated that the roundabout will be reopened before morning peak hour traffic the following day.
On Saturday, February 18th there will be a one-day closure on Robinson Road from Fifth Street to East Street including the Robinson Road/East Street junction to facilitate the final layer of asphalt. Motorists should follow posted diversion signs.
On Sunday, February 19th there will be a one-day closure on Robinson Road from Claridge Road to just east of the Mall at Marathon light junction to facilitate laying of the final layer of asphalt. Motorists should follow posted diversion signs.
As usual local access to businesses and residents will be granted in all areas of work.
Motorists are asked to adhere to the post traffic signs in construction areas.
