The U.S. Coast Guard has called off their search for a Canadian woman reported missing earlier this week, who was thought to have gone overboard.
The unidentified 47-year old woman was on the Florida cruise ship, Bahamas Celebration, which was travelling from Freeport on Grand Bahama Island to the Port of Palm Beach.
The ship docked in Riviera Beach, Fla., at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. U.S. media reports say the woman’s boyfriend awoke and couldn’t find her. Around 8 a.m. he alerted the ship’s crew, which along with the Coast Guard launched a full search for the woman.
