Secret Advisor Helps Harry Charm The Caribbean

Prince Harry in Jamaica with Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller, Usain Bolt, and excited children

He’s danced up a storm, beaten the world’s fastest man in a race, and most of all delighted the people of the Bahamas, Jamaica and Belize with his own brand of charm.

Prince Harry’s Carribbean tour has been a resounding success.

It was during a speech at a black tie dinner – in the presence of Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller – that his new level of maturity and public awareness became apparent.

Though obviously nervous, he delivered a textbook example of public speaking.

Finding the right balance between solemnity and lightheartedness, he drew laughter by quoting Bob Marley, “every little ting gonna be aright”.

His performance was so key because Jamaica’s been in the spotlight recently amid strong republican feeling.

But Harry instantly won over Ms Simpson-Miller upon his arrival by enveloping her in bear hug.

Afterwards, she enthused to journalists: “We are in love with him, we love him, he’s a wonderful person, such a beautiful person!”

And now the driving force behind Harry’s masterful handling of the tour has been revealed – he’s been getting help from a secret adviser.

Royal aides have revealed Prince William has been in constant contact with his brother.

“He spoke at length to his brother before coming out, about how to approach it, and they have been in communication throughout the tour,” says the source.

“They have been in touch regularly via mobile and text. The relationship they have is full of banter and humour but Prince William is deeply caring of his younger brother and wants his younger brother to succeed.

“He can advise him on how to mix the informality with the dignity of [representing] the Queen.”
