The 2012 National High School Debating Championship will feature defending C. R. Walker Senior High School matching skills with the team from Anatol Rodgers Senior High at 10:00 am on Thursday, 19th April, 2012 at the Rainforest Theatre of the Wyndham Cable Resort.
The teams will debate the merits and the demerits of the topic, “Be it resolved that an income tax system will positively impact The Bahamas”.
The debating championship is a much anticipated event on the private and public high school calendar throughout The Bahamas. Students engage in three months of debates at the district level until two teams remain.
This is Anatol Rodgers High School first appearance in the competition.
Minister of Education, the Honourable T. Desmond Bannister will bring remarks at the event.
