Nassau, Bahamas – The highly anticipated T-Connection Reloaded concerts set for Nassau and Grand Bahama which were scheduled April 20th and 21st are being moved to May 18th and 19th due to the upcoming general elections on May 7th.
The announcement came from Nelson Armaly, CEO of Paragon Concierge & Event Management. “Although many are anxious for the concerts and the band is ready to roll, we felt it best for all to move the dates in respect for such an important occasion that will determine the future of The Bahamas.” Mr. Armaly went on further to say that all tickets sold for the April 20th show in Nassau will be honoured on the May 18th concert date.
Added to the excitement of this T-Connection reunion concert is the addition of another legendary Bahamian talent. “We are very pleased to have secured Jay Mitchell as our opening act for these upcoming concerts. Jay’s has had a colourful career being managed by none other than Joe Jackson,” said Armaly.
T-Connection Reloaded 2012 will take place at the Nassau Wyndham Resort Crystal Palace Ballroom on May 18th and May 19th in Freeport.
“This second date in Grand Bahama is going to please a lot of people,” said David Mackey of T-Connection, the only member of the band still residing in Grand Bahama. So many fans have been begging for a Freeport concert, and after all, Grand Bahama was home to The Connection Room, formerly the Kiki Rouge where the band used to perform two shows a night when not on tour. The last performance the band made in Grand Bahama was in 2003 at the Camelot Room in the old Princess Hotel. Fans have been keeping up to date with the bands reunion events and leaving comments on the T-Connection Facebook Page from as far away as Africa.
