Diane Phillips & Associates (DP&A) was recently recognized internationally by the American and Caribbean Advertising Federations (CAF) for the second time in two years. The local public relations and marketing firm received the coveted Silver ADDY Award in the Collateral Material category for exceptional writing and creative design work performed on the 2011 Bank of The Bahamas annual report.
The CAF is a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), which represents thousands of advertising companies in the United States and the Caribbean. Attracting nearly 60,000 entries each year nationwide, the ADDY awards have become the nation’s largest and most comprehensive advertising competition. This year, more than 420 CAF entries were judged from more than 30 different companies representing a list of Caribbean countries and the southeast United States.
“I am extremely proud that our team and work have been recognized again by our international peers,” said Diane Phillips, president of DP&A. “Both of our ADDY Awards have been for work performed for Bank of The Bahamas and both winning entries involved the whole DPA team, including partners Alexavia Dorsett and Craig Eldon. We’re privileged to have a client like BOB that allows us to produce imaginative work that resonates with colleagues on a regional and international level.”
For more than 25 years, DP&A has helped develop and promote the message of clients for Bahamian economic empowerment and is best known for the firm’s commitment to community. In 2011, Phillips was honoured with the first ever Chairman’s Award from the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce.
