Three months after marrying in a beach ceremony, Darren Clarke has shared intimate details of the big day.
The golfer and former model Alison Campbell tied the knot in the Bahamas after a year-long engagement.
The event had been shrouded in secrecy but Darren now reveals that the day was ‘fantastic’.
Writing in his blog he says, “I know it’s been a while but such a lot has been going on!
“The most exciting thing to have happened since my last blog is that myself and Alison were married on the beach in Abaco in the Bahamas.
“We wanted a small private family affair with no publicity so that was why it was shrouded in secrecy,” he said.
“We had the most fantastic day with both our families there and a few close friends.
“Our honeymoon was spent in Abaco and we had a brilliant time relaxing, which was just what we needed.”
