Grand Bahama experienced another island-wide power outage Wednesday afternoon, the second in less than two weeks.
Grand Bahama Power Company officials were unaware of the exact cause of the power supply failure.
The first power outage occurred Thursday, July 12, at 6:55 p.m. as a result of transmission and distribution failure due to the power company’s generation units malfunctioning. Residents and businesses were left without electricity for more than five hours.
