Alliance Francaise French Wine Mix and Mingle

Spend the afternoon with the Alliance Francaise des Bahamas on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2PM to 6PM.

The Alliance Française des Bahamas, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the French language and francophone cultures in The Bahamas, will open its doors and host an afternoon of mingling with French wine and culture on Sunday afternoon (25/11/2012).

Join us as we become acquainted with the newest selection of wines and champagnes on the menu from Young’s Champagne. William will tell you about the French wines he promotes and their individual personalities embodied in the simple and delicious fruit notes of the regional Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Hautes Côtes de Nuits, to the soft, graceful Beaune du Château Premier Cru and the robust berry flavours of the Gevrey Chambertin.

Caroline Anderson will showcase a selection of her bijoux d’art from Accès Ocean inspired by her Bahamian environment, and you will have the opportunity to interact directly with her.

A selection of original, framed aquarelles painted at the Iles aux Moines, in Brittany, France and donated by Joan Mann, artiste based in Staniel Cay, Exuma, will be on silent auction. Proceeds from sales will benefit the Alliance Française and the Bahamas Cancer Society.

During the course of the afternoon, students who sat the official French DELF examinations in May and June 2012 will officially receive their diplomas.
