Thousands of couples are flocking to Ministry of Tourism’s most recent wedding promotion with NBC, bringing special attention to The Bahamas’ appeal as a wedding and honeymoon destination.
Ministry of Tourism launched the promotion with NBC’s Today Show. The “I Do…Over – Bahamas Getaway” contest calls on married couples to submit a photo and essay explaining how their wedding or honeymoon did not go as planned and why they deserve a do over in The Bahamas.
The contest will be promoted through December 5 during the fourth hour of The Today Show. On 12/12/12, an extremely popular wedding date, NBC will announce the winners – 12 couples who will receive three-night trips to Grand Bahama Island, courtesy of the Ministry of Tourism and Grand Lucayan Resort.
The “I Do…Over” contest is another highly-publicized promotion between The Ministry of Tourism and NBC. In February, the two entities collaborated to broadcast two days of the fourth hour of The Today Show from The Bahamas.
