It is so sad to have a leader of a country like Perry Christie who seems clueless about what Bahamians are thinking and feeling.
On coming to office, I am positive the PLP found many things started that should be completed. The PLP found crime a problem and it should have been given priority, but, no, gambling seems to be the most important, far surpassing the air we breath, good healthcare and education. The government seems to have compromised itself so much so that it appears that major players in the party are visibly campaigning for the legalisation of gambling.
Retreating from mounting pressure from an angry public, Mr Christie, with tail between his legs, decided to push the opinion poll back till January.
