The Bahamas Kennel Club’s International All Breed and Obedience Dog Show will take place March 16 and 17 on the grounds of Bahamas Food Services on Gladstone Road.
The show features classes in confirmation, obedience, agility and junior showmanship.
There are also special classes for the Bahamian Potcake and neutered and spayed mixed breed and breed dogs.
The BKC will be offering a special handling class on Saturday, January 11, at the Retreat on Village Road from 9.30–10.30am.
“There are many outstanding dogs in the Bahamas” said Lynn Gape , vice president of the BKC. “However many owners feel that they do not have the handling skills to show their dogs. We are pleased to have AKC Judges Jon and Carol Mett join us on Saturday, January 11 offering a special handling class for dog owners.”
