Bahamians who did not register to vote in the general election have until Thursday to register to vote in the referendum on gambling set for January 28, Acting Parliamentary Commissioner Sherlyn Hall said.
As of December 12, there were 172,617 Bahamians on the register.
He told The Nassau Guardian provisions will be in place for citizens living abroad to vote in an advanced poll on January 21.
The polling stations on New Providence and the Family Islands will almost mirror the locations of the polling stations in the general election.
Poll workers and law enforcement officers will also vote in the advanced poll.
Voters will be asked to answer the questions: Do you support the regulation and taxation of web shop gaming, and do you support the establishment of a national lottery.
