Nassau, Bahamas – On set of the Canadian docudrama ‘Mystery in Paradise.’ The film crew has been shooting in Nassau from January 25 to February 3, using various locations like Arawak Cay, Montague Foreshore, Green Parrot Restaurant and Marina, Potter’s Cay, and private homes on the eastern side of New Providence. Other scenes were shot on location in Florida and Arkansas.
The Canadian production company Cineflix were very pleased with the on location production. According to producer Alvarez Acosta, “The Bahamas is a magical place, the people are friendly, charming and easy to work with. The local crew were on point with their assignments every step of the way; and the Bahamas Film Commission did all possible to make our stay seamless.”
Alvarez also gave high marks to the local Bahamian food service providers who prepared sumptuous meals for the cast and crew. From a crew of 30 persons, Bahamians made up about 65% of the production team. The film is scheduled to be aired on television, and be featured in news magazines in Canada and the USA.
