The Time to buy or book a ticket is here – before it is too late. The Nassau Music Society’s FESTIVAL is upon us – Wednesday is D-Day – “A Festival of Afro-Caribbean Composers”. It may be a once in a lifetime opportunity and if you miss the opportunity you will never be able to say to your Grandchildren – “I was there, when they played the music of Le Chevalier de Saint George, the most famous composer from the Caribbean”.
The Festival starts on Wednesday with a concert by local artists, and playing local and Caribbean music, 7.30pm at the College of the Bahamas Performing Arts Centre, Cleophas Adderley and the Bahamas National Youth Choir, JoAnn Callender accompanied by Christy Lee and C-Force, Christy Lee again, Christine Gangelhoff and Chris Justillien, will set the standard for the week and it will be high.
Tickets are inexpensive and will not break the pocket book. But book now – Logos, Custom Computer, Chapters Book Store and Moir & Co plus of course the Nassau Music Society website www.nassaumusicsociety.org .
