Security, tracking and monitoring systems supplier Global Ocean Security Technologies will provide live tracking of The A-Team on board the Nor-Tech 392 Super Fish as they cruise through the Bahamas in the second annual Hang’em High Challenge in Hawk’s Nest.
Live tracking of the team’s location at 30-minute intervals will be broadcast April 4-12 at the GOST Nav-Tracker website, the company announced.
Florida-based Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats has set its sights on the offshore saltwater fishing market by building tournament-ready center console fishing boats. Alden Thornton, the national saltwater sales manager and team leader of The A-Team, will run the 39-foot center console powered by quad Mercury 300-hp Verado outboards.
The boat is equipped with the GOST NT-Evolution 2.0 Inmarsat satellite-based wireless marine security, monitoring and tracking system with global remote accessibility. The next-generation NT-Evolution 2.0 is a marine-grade, water-resistant wireless security, monitoring and tracking system that provides global arm/disarm and relay control over satellite from anywhere in the world with battery backup.
“We are excited to continue our great working relationship with GOST and even more excited to have the Nav-Tracker document a live bread crumb trail of our entire tournament trip,” Thornton said in a statement. “The NT-Evolution 2.0 also gives us peace of mind, knowing that our boat is protected at night.”
