A man in the his forties is the country’s latest causality of murder. The man was gunned down in a brazen daytime robbery just off the Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.
Superintendent Paul Rolle, head of the Central Detective Unit, said the victim was shot and killed just after 1:00pm on a road behind Eagle Electrical Supplies and Lighting Centre.
According to Supt. Rolle, the motive behind the murder seems to have been robbery.
He said this senseless act of violence brings the country’s murder count to 34.
And it’s only April.
